Meet Lori

Lori Robinson, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, grew up in Shaker Heights, where she enjoyed playing a variety of sports. After graduating from high school, Lori moved west to play softball for the University of Oregon Ducks. However, a torn ACL two days before the season opener against UCLA prevented her from making her college athletic debut. This injury inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Lori graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. She then obtained her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. She began her career as a valued member of the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Department, where she worked for nearly ten years. Following her tenure there, she worked at a private practice before starting her own physical therapy clinic in 2015.

Once an avid runner, Lori specializes in working with athletes who are training for races or returning to running after an injury. She now has a newfound love of all racquet sports. She is McKenzie-trained and certified in pilates and dry needling. With over 20 years of experience in physical therapy, Lori employs proven techniques and approaches to treat various orthopedic injuries.

Lori has a deep interest in wellness and longevity. She treats patients of all ages and is dedicated to helping them age well by maintaining good posture, balance, and strength, as well as improving bone density. Recently, she became accredited with the Onero Program, a strength-based regimen developed in Australia at the Bone Clinic. This method, which has been in use for over ten years, has helped individuals with osteopenia or osteoporosis improve their bone density within an eight-month period by performing less than 30 minutes of exercise twice a week.
