Lori Robinson, PT

Helping You Build Strength, Move With Confidence, and Age Well

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Lori Robinson grew up in Shaker Heights and has always had a passion for movement, sports, and helping people stay active. After high school, she attended the University of Oregon, where she played softball for the Ducks. A torn ACL just two days before the season opener against UCLA prevented her from making her college athletic debut—and ultimately changed the direction of her life. Her experience with injury and rehabilitation inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Lori earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from the University of Oregon and went on to earn her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University.

With more than 30 years of experience as a physical therapist, Lori has worked in a variety of settings throughout the greater Cleveland area. She spent nearly 10 years in the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Department, followed by time in private practice and corporate wellness. In 2015, she opened her own practice, Corpstrength Physical Therapy, with a focus on helping people stay strong, active, and independent.

Throughout her career, Lori has worked with athletes, active adults, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. She is McKenzie-trained and certified in Pilates and dry needling. Once an avid runner herself, she now enjoys a variety of racquet sports and understands firsthand the importance of staying active throughout every stage of life.

A Personal Connection to Bone Health

Lori’s passion for osteoporosis and bone health is deeply personal.

Her mother passed away from complications following a hip fracture, and her husband was later diagnosed with osteoporosis at a relatively young age. These experiences opened Lori’s eyes to how serious osteoporosis can be—and how important it is to address bone health before a fracture occurs.

That personal connection, combined with her background in physical therapy and strength training, led Lori to focus increasingly on helping people with osteopenia and osteoporosis become stronger, more confident, and more independent.

The ONERO Program

Lori is an accredited ONERO Program instructor, a clinically developed, strength-based program created at The Bone Clinic in Australia and supported by more than a decade of research.

ONERO is specifically designed for individuals with osteopenia and osteoporosis and uses progressive resistance training to help improve strength, function, balance, and confidence while supporting bone health.

For Lori, ONERO is about much more than lifting weights. It’s about giving people the knowledge and confidence to understand what their bodies are capable of and to continue doing the things they love.

Whether the goal is carrying groceries, lifting a suitcase, getting up from the floor, playing tennis, traveling, or simply remaining independent, strength matters.

A Focus on Aging Well

Lori believes that getting older should not mean giving up the activities you enjoy.

Her approach combines physical therapy, strength training, balance, posture, and functional movement to help clients age well and stay active for life. She works with individuals at different stages of life and fitness, meeting them where they are and helping them progress safely.

Her goal is simple:

To help her clients become stronger, move with confidence, and live as independently and fully as possible.

Lori is passionate about giving her clients the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to take an active role in their health—today and for the years ahead.
